We are excited to announce that Sarah Julian has been named a 2016 Pet Age Woman of Influence. With over 12 years of experience in the industry, Sarah founded OffLeash Communications on a mission to forge connections between pet parents and the products and services that bring their animals wellness and joy. Since then, she has grown the company into a virtual marketing agency that offers brand development, strategic direction and implementation support to clients nationwide.
"I am honored to be counted among the many smart, creative and talented women in the pet industry. Whether they are clients, media, or industry partners, I consider myself lucky to have spent my career working alongside them."
Sarah’s belief in the power of the brand-consumer connection has helped position her as a strategic asset for each of her clients. From start-up companies to established brands, she uses her marketing expertise and knowledge of the industry to guide clients through the intricacies of this pet-centric universe. Most recently, she became a member of the Board of Directors for the Pet Industry Sustainability Coalition, joining other leaders who are shaping the direction of sustainability in the pet industry.
And if that wasn't enough, she is raising twin three-year-old boys, technically little animals, to be positive forces in the world. That is some serious community service.
The Women of Influence awards program honors women leaders who are influential in the pet manufacturing or servicing industry. Awardees have a solid reputation based on experience, integrity, and leadership as well as a proven track record of accomplishments. The Women of Influence award winners will be profiled in the May issue of Pet Age.
